Bmg Xray

This year, Arend ventures into the realm of trailer music with world's fastest-growing production music company, BMG Music, and one of it's biggest labels: X-Ray Dog.

Since X-Ray Dog is a hi-end trailer music catalog, specializing in epic trailer styles, often with live players, orchestra and percussion, this seems like a match made in heaven:

"For this exclusive album we went into the studio to record an actual string orchestra. What a delight to hear all ideas come to life through these wonderfull musicians! To be able to add this emotional layer and human touch with real musicians is an invaluable addition to these epic tracks enhanced with synthesizers and big percussive elements."

"To top things of, we recorded some additional string quartet to add subtle details to the more intimate moments in the music."

Besides Arend's compositions, fellow Dutch composers Jochem Weierink and Bob Thole also contributed their music to the album. A public release is expected after the duration of one year, until then it's exclusively offered to major studios for a licensing deal.
